I got an urge to draw a pretty slave girl with an animal. I don't know about all of you but I am a big lover of big cats, and yes small ones too. Since I have 3 of them it isn't a big surprise. I think there is something very sexy about cats, their power and sleekness. I decided to go for the tiger in the jungle, and I knew from the start that the major point I was making here was the connection of spirit to the choices we make to submit. There is more than one slave or subbie I know who do have the heart of a lion, and for them to give their gift is a grand surrender.

This drawing was first seen at Thunder In the Mountains 2002. There was love for it but not enough to make someone commit to taking her home but something did happen that I just feel the need to tell you about. I had at least 4 people say to me...if you had drawn that with a wolf, I would by it. Okay first off, as an artist, I don't want to hear that. I drew it the way I felt like, it was drawn for me, and I am selling it. If you want to order a commission of a gal and wolf then that is up to that person and their drawing. I got to the point that I swear if one more person said this to me, I was going to scream. I recognize that they were trying to be helpful at some level but honestly if you wanted in a room and someone said to you, Oh I wouldn't have worn that...I would have put black pants with it. I am mean really! How rude! It comes down to this folks, either you like my art or you don't. If you do great and if you don't well walk on by, but unless you are going to pay me to make a drawing how you want it, then your opinions about what or how I should have done a drawings that are already done are just plain rude. Okay off my soap box now.
